CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Thami Mjacu
Chief Executive Officer of Latita Investments (Pty) Ltd since 2012 to current.
- Founding member and Chief Executive Officer of Latita Investments
- Holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Nelson Mandela University
- Established a wholesaling function to assists in alleviating the country’s load shedding by supplying bulk petroleum products.
- Procured a number of vessels through well entrenched global relationships in Singapore, Middle East and India.
- Combined experience of over 20 years in the petrochemical industry, in shipping, clearing and forwarding.
Chief Operating Officer
Vukani Khulu
- Holds a B.Sc in Chemistry and Applied Chemistry, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and Supply Chain Management (University of Natal), a Masters in Business Leadership –MBL (UNISA) and an Executive programme from Wits University.
- Twenty years in Energy Sector. Having worked for Eskom, Egoli Gas, PetroSA, CEF and ROMPCO where he last worked as a General Manager Commercial and Customer Affairs.
- He was part of LNG development from Mozambique. And developed gad markets for South Africa and the West Coast Gas lines.
- He was part of Kudu and Ibhubesi gasfileds development.
- Leading commercial for development of Tank Farms for both for PetroSA, SFF and for strategic stock for the government of South Africa atEgoli Gas.
- Was on charge of new refinery Projects both in Coega with Sinopec (Beijing) and in Richard’s Bay with Saudi Aramco (Saudi Arabia).
TRADING AND OPERATIONS MANAGER
Sinda Khumalo
- Sinda holds Bachelor of Commerce Degree – Business Management and
- Industrial Psychology.
- Sinda’s 15 years of corporate experience spans across the Petroleum, Equities, Forex trading operations and advisory spheres. She is a registered trader with SAIFM and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange Stock Exchange. Sinda manages and leads the Trading desk team and is the Key operator for all post-deal trading activity – contract review and contract execution (pre-loading up to post-offloading activities).
LOGISTICS AND RISK MANAGER
Bongokuhle Khulu
- With a vast experience in the Energy Sector having spent 24 years. He is highly skilled in Operations Management, Projects Management, Contracts Management and Integrated Systems Management.
- He has been throughout the life span of the power plant, having built, commissioned, operated and optimised power plants.
- He holds the following education qualifications: National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Management Development Programme with Durban University of Technology (DUT), a Middle Management Programme with North-West University (NWU), Potchefstroom.
Finance Manager
Lefu Mbele
- Lefu is a Professional Accountant (SA) and a seasoned Senior Financial Accountant and Power
BI Data Analyst. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma: Professional Accountant in Practice from the
South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA), as well as a Bachelor of Commerce
in Accounting from the University of the Free State. He has also completed a Business
Intelligence Internship Program with PwC Academy Certification.
With over 9 years of experience, Lefu has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to
financial excellence, attention to detail, and a focus on sustaining fiscal health within
organizations. He played a key role in the implementation of mSCOA-compliant ERP solution, a
National Treasury initiative, across more than ten municipalities in South Africa.
